Today I did something scary, ridiculous, and thrilling. Basically, awesome. I opened a business. My business it the Fermental Food Co. It will specialize in homemade cheese accompaniments, catered lunches, cheese and beer pairing classes, and more. I will also post on this blog about what I am doing for the business. Tonight, I got ready for the Homemade Harvest Food Swap courtesy of Swap it Oakland! I am bringing mustard and mostarda.
I am planning on meeting some great fellow food makers in the Oakland community and see how they are approaching their business. I plan on making friends and connections in my field. This is an exciting time! I have finished prepping for the day and will leave some pictures of the canning. Tomorrow I will post about the swap!
